Journal Entry #3

These are three Porsche advertisements as part of an ad campaign. I chose these ads because I believe that they are simple and elegant. I really like when a company can advertise their product with something that maybe takes only a few minutes to create but says it all (sometimes better than expensive, task heavy ads take to create). All three also go well together in a unified campaign.

I found this logo on "logopond.com." I chose it because it originally caught my eye as a spartan helmet with a typeface, and then when I looked closer I realized that the golfer and range of motion created the helmet. The entire concept seemed genious to me. I'm not crazy about the typ face that the designer chose but it is still definitely one of my favorite logos.

I found this website on "webcreme.com." I chose it because it is similar to a type of website that I would like to create and use for myself. It is simple, elegant, and effective, with minimal distractions or filler content. It performs its task, while also displaying the designers work in a unique and design savvy fashion.
